Macauley Wilson scored a hattrick as the Blackpool Youth Team won 3-1 away to Shrewsbury.
The captain led the comeback with two penalties and a sensational free kick in the top corner.
For the first penalty the right back sent the keeper the wrong way as he fired in the left hand side of the goal.
His second goal was a placed freekick in the top corner from 25 yards out which left the goalkeeper with no chance.
Wilson calmly put his penalty down the middle to complete his hattrick.
Shrewsbury scored the first goal of the game after winning the ball in the Blackpool half.
Despite Wilson claiming all the goals, it was a superb overall team performance by Ciaran Donnelly’s side.
Ciaran Donnelly said: “We’re just so pleased with them that they’ve reacted in the right way to the defeat to Carlisle. They’ve played the right football and it also gave us some great preparation for playing Crewe on Wednesday.
“Some of them who have been on the fringes who got games today because we’ve rested a couple for the Youth Cup have excelled and pushed on.”
