The youth team put in a fantastic performance to record a resounding 5-1 win against Morecambe on Saturday.
Ralph Chea opened the scoring in the first-half, which was shortly followed by Dylan Sumner’s double.
Will Dunne extended The Seasiders’ lead to 4-0 before the hosts pulled back a consolation goal.
However, Blackpool got the last say through Tyler Rufus who came off the bench to add gloss to the scoreline.
The Seasiders started the game on the front foot and had several chances before breaking the deadlock.
Chea put his side ahead in the 16th minute when charging forward, after receiving Rowan Roache’s pass to slot into the bottom corner.
Just moments later Dunne flicked the ball into Sumner who scored to double the lead.
Sumner was then on hand to score again in the 30th minute with a header from Caleb Richards’ cross to secure a 3-0 lead for Blackpool at the interval.

The Seasiders started the second-half well and attacked the Morecambe goal with Roache, Sumner and Dunne all having efforts.
Those efforts were followed by two successive corners, but Blackpool still couldn’t find a fourth goal until the 66th minute.
It was Dunne who got the fourth goal with a header from a looping ball to score in his second successive game.
The youth team came agonisingly close to a fifth goal shortly after through Chea, who did well to round the keeper but his effort from a tight angle hit the post.
The hosts then pulled a goal back in the 75th minute but it proved to nothing more than a consolation goal, as Blackpool added a fifth goal.
Rufus came off the bench to score with a great finish from inside the area to round off a strong performance.
